Eric Muriuki is the founding partner at MKA Law LLP and a distinguished Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. With over five years of robust legal practice since his admission to the bar in 2021, Eric has established himself as a formidable force in the legal arena, actively participating in high-stakes Constitutional Litigation. His notable contributions include landmark impeachments of the Deputy President, Cabinet ministers, and Governors, as well as defending human rights in pivotal cases, navigating complex commercial litigation, and excelling in general dispute resolution.

He earned his LLB degree with Upper Second-Class Honours from the University of Nairobi in 2017. Following this, he pursued the Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law in 2019, graduating with distinction and solidifying his path to legal excellence. He is currently undertaking his LLM in Law and Governance, further deepening his expertise in these critical fields. His primary areas of expertise encompass Dispute Resolution, Legal Consultancy and Advisory services, Conveyancing law, Legislative drafting, Electoral disputes, and Constitutional & administrative law. Eric began his career as Litigation Counsel for the County Government of Meru, where he adeptly managed intricate matters across the Superior Courts. Additionally, between March and October 2022, he served as a prosecutor, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the criminal justice system that honed his skills in high-pressure advocacy and procedural intricacies.

Eric Muriuki served as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Matili Technical Training Institute 2023- 2026 where he sat in the Audit and Risk Management Committee and the Research Training and Human Resources Committee. He was member of the Public Interest Litigation Committee of the Law Society of Kenya 2024- 2026 and has also served as a member of two committees of the Nairobi Branch of the Law Society, that is, the Legal Aid & Public Interest Litigation as well as the Devolution and Law Reform Committees 2024- 2026.
